Alongside its own brand ranges, it sells big name kit as well from the likes of Garmin and Michelin. Plus, there are discounts on everything from golf clubs to snorkels if you’re after kit for other sports.

Van Rysel Ultra 500 AF GF road bike, Sora Disc – £899.99 £559.99
Decathlon rebranded its own-brand B’Twin bikes Van Rysel earlier this year, so this alloy-framed bike still says B’Twin on its down tube despite being branded Van Rysel on Decathlon’s site.
It’s well equipped for its price, with a carbon fork and 9-speed Shimano Sora drivetrain with 11-28 cassette. Other name brand components include the Mavic Aksium Disc thru-axle wheelset and Shimano mechanical disc brakes. The 9.6kg quoted weight isn’t bad for a bike at this price either.
Garmin Vivofit 3 – £59.99 £29.99
Decathlon is has the Vivofit 3 with a 50 percent saving this Black Friday.
This Vivofit is best suited to tracking day-to-day life, tracking heart rate and calorie count, but will still be a useful addition to your training toolkit.
Rockrider E-ST500 e-MTB 27.5in – £999.99 £799.99
An e-MTB for £800? With a 250-watt motor and 42Nm of torque, along with three assistance levels, the Rockrider E-ST500 will help you up the hills. Decathlon says that its lockable 420Wh battery should support you for around 2.5 hours of riding.
Running on 27.5in wheels, you get a 120mm travel Suntour XCR fork with hydraulic damper and a SRAM NX/Shimano Altus 9-speed drivetrain. Tyres are Hutchinson Cougar 2.4in.
Rockrider ST 560 27.5in hardtail MTB – £549.99 £449.99
Another sharply priced piece of MTB tech, Decathlon says that the Rockrider ST 560’s alloy frame weighs 1.6kg. It’s kitted out with a 100mm travel RockShox XC30 fork and SRAM X5 2×10-speed derailleur system with Tektro hydraulic disc braking. Claimed weight is around 13kg.
Decathlon says that the Rockrider ST 560 is a unisex design, but it sells a women’s variant too at the same price.

These mirror lens sunnies from Van Rysel pack the pro look at a bargain price. They come with a Cat 3 polycarbonate lens with 12 per cent light transmission for sunny days and a swappable clear lens for dim light, which transmits 92 per cent.
The polyamide plastic frame has rubber temple grips for a solid fit in all conditions.
Van Rysel RR 900 women’s cycling jersey £34.99 £14.99
Van Rysel’s performance women’s jersey comes with all the features, including mesh fabric at the rear, a fourth zipped pocket and a slim fit with 10 per cent elastane.
It’s available in this Pink Wave colour at the discounted price of £14.99.
