A cyclist has died in a serious road traffic collision close to Catford Railway Station, in Lewisham, south east London.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash between a lorry and a cyclist on Ravensbourne Park at 6.39am this morning.
The male cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Met Police spokesperson stated that there were no arrests in connection with the incident.
Officers have cordoned off parts of the A205 Catford Road both ways and the station.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson: ‘We were called at 6:36am today to reports of a cyclist hit by a vehicle on Ravensbourne Park, Catford.

‘We dispatched an ambulance crew, a medic in a car and an incident response officer to the scene. With the first of our medics arriving in under four minutes.
‘Sadly, despite the efforts of medics, a man died at the scene.’
Today’s collision comes just 24 hours after another serious collision took place on the same road.

A male pedestrian was mown down by a car in a suspected hit-and-run in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
He was rushed to hospital and is now said to be in a stable condition with non life-threatening injuries.
In a tweet, Labour Cllr Louise Krupski, of Rushey Green, wrote that the road outside Catford Railway Station was ‘very dangerous’.
She asked that efforts to widen the road to make it safe should be added to ‘Catford Masterplan’.
Lewisham Cyclists, part of the London Cycling Campaign, urged the Mayor of London’s Walking & Cycling Commissioner Will Norman to ‘discuss what can be done’.
