Edina’s mountain biking team found cold and muddy track conditions at race number 6 of the 2019 season at Spirit Mountain in Duluth.
Gabi Mazion placed fifth in the varsity girls race to lead Edina, while teammate Quentin Loxtercamp placed seventh among varsity boys riders.
Bella Mazion added to Edina’s point total with fourth place in the JV girls race. Elin Hartmann won the freshman girls race, while Henry Bergeson was second among sophomore boys.
Fifty-five schools sent athletes to the Duluth event.
