CBBC members lead rides throughout the year and raise money through the annual Covered Bridges Ride
The Central Bucks Bike Club hosted an event for six organizations with cycling-related missions at KC Prime in Warrington to distribute donations totaling $18,700.
CBBC has now donated $100,000 to various organizations since 2012. The club holds member-led rides throughout the year, and the annual Covered Bridges Ride in October provides funding for bike-related causes similar to this year’s recipients.
Those recipients include Bicycle Coalition Youth Cycling, the PA Interscholastic Cycling League, the Lower Bucks County Mountain Bike Team, Doylestown Pump Track, CAT-Coalition for Appropriate Transportation and Bike Bucks County.
