LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Bicycling enthusiasts are being asked to share their thoughts on mountain biking parks in Lincoln.
The Parks and Recreation Department is taking comments on its Mountain Bike Facilities Master Plan.
The department intends to build facilities for mountain biking in Lincoln, and it’s looking for input on which locations will best service the community.
An interactive map is available on the city’s website that shows the 19 locations that could be optimal for mountain biking facilities.
Comments are being accepted through Jan. 23, after which a committee will use the input to draft a master plan. In March and April, public comment and review of the draft will be conducted.
On April 13, the Parks and Recreation advisory board will hold a meeting on the plan.
