Road cycling loop to appear in Bishkek by June 1
AKIPRESS.COM – The bicycle lane connecting the southern and northern parts of the city will appear in Bishkek, Vice Mayor Mirlan Amanturov told AKIpress.
The bike lane will stretch from the Southern Highway along Chingiz Aitmatov Ave., Manas Ave. and then to Chui Ave., from Chui Ave. to Abdrahmanov street and then to the Southern Highway.
“We plan to inaugurate the bike lane by June 1. The width of the lane will be 4.5 meters. It will be adjacent to the pavement like on the Southern Highway now. This work is already underway. The old trees will be cut,” the Vice Mayor said.
