MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) – Belarus’ Raman Tsishkou and Mikhail Shemetau placed 16th in Madison at the TISSOT UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Hong Kong, China on 1 December, BelTA has learned.
Gold was clinched by Germany. Silver went to New Zealand. Bronze was collected by the UK.
Hong Kong hosted the third stage of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup on 29 November-1 December. The competition program included Individual and Team Sprints, Team and Individual Pursuits, Keirin, Omnium, Madison, and Points Race. The same as in Minsk and Glasgow, Hong Kong featured medal and Olympic points events. The next stages are scheduled for 6-8 December in Cambridge, New Zealand, 13-15 December in Brisbane, Australia, and 24-26 January 2020 in Milton, Canada.
