The Wisconsin CX Series p/b Trek Bicycles returns to the prairie again this Saturday for the annual Badger Prairie Cross hosted by the Neff Cycle Service team.
Located at the site of the 2012 and 2013 Cyclocross National Championships in Verona, Badger Prairie is known for its challenging, hilly layout and fun, party-like atmosphere at the park pavilion.
Also taking place on Saturday will be the Uni-Cross race at 3:45 p.m. Come ride on one wheel or watch the uni-wheeled shredders rip and hop their way around the special cyclocross course.
Racing at Badger Prairie Cross follows the 2019 Wisconsin cyclocross series daily schedule, with races starting at 9 a.m. and continuing through the Uni-Cross at the end of the day. Payouts for the Elite Women and Elite Men’s races total $800 and go 5 deep.
Food vendors on-site will include Englewood Grass Fed Beef and Goin’ BBQ, and the Hop Garden of Paoli will be the official beverage sponsor.
Pre-registration for the 2019 Badger Prairie Cross is open through Wednesday night at midnight. Pre-reg saves you a few dollars and earns you a call-up for Saturday’s race.
